The human brain performs extremely complicated electro-magnetic functions and, like any other organ, shows symptoms of stress. Under stress, the brain’s blood supply is redirected for ‘fight’ or ‘flight’ in the body, and the logic center or creative center simply shuts down. When these centers of the brain shutdown, the synchronization of brain function is lost and we just cannot ‘think’ clearly.
BIT is useful in treating multiple kinds of learning difficulties such as attention deficit disorder (ADD) both with and without hyperactivity, sensory integration, dyslexia, poor coordination, closed head traumas and brain injuries and autism spectrum disorders. It enhances the ability to learn and improves reading, comprehension, spelling and coordination.
WHAT MAKES BIT DIFFERENT?
Many treatments rely on medication, ongoing exercises, removing stress, or modifying how material is presented to the subject in order to change behavior or improve learning. BIT actually changes the way the brain functions, integrating the electromagnetic flow of information and re-wiring the way information flows within the structure of the brain. This specifically addresses approximately 80 different components involved in learning. BIT not only addresses every aspect of the physiological functions involved in learning, it takes into account emotional subconscious, removing any relevant blocks to learning.
Crossinology® Brain Integration Technique, also known as BIT, is a comprehensive system that locates the links between learning difficulties and acupressure. BIT combines acupressure, Applied Physiology and Chinese Meridian System based practices to permanently correct learning difficulties in children and adults.*
The median time for a standard correction program is 8 – 12 hours of hands on work. This can vary based on individual needs with a 1 hour post-integration follow-up at 6 to 8 weeks.
The time frame can range from a few days to a few months. We open up the pathways for the brain to be able to learn. It is often the people with whom the integrated person interacts who notice changes first.
Yes. Once integrated, the individual will never need to be fully integrated again. If a client were to suffer a traumatic brain injury or a concussion, we would want to see them to check the brain for stress.
